Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students strengthen their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through our debating and public speaking programs. They participate in a range of opportunities, including Multicultural Public Speaking, our school public speaking competition and school debating competitions. Students also have the chance to represent the school in local and state events, further building their confidence and voice as young leaders.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs provide students with rich opportunities to be creative and express themselves with confidence. Students regularly showcase their talents during school assemblies and take part in a range of performances and visual arts experiences. Each year, our school proudly participates in the Liverpool Arts and Film Festival (LAaFF), giving students an additional platform to share their creativity with the wider community.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Wellbeing Reward Days
Students who reach Gold on our reward system are invited to take part in a special Reward Day, celebrating their consistently outstanding behaviour. At the end of each semester, students vote on the activity they would most enjoy, ensuring the day reflects their interests and achievements. It is a positive way to recognise and reinforce the high expectations upheld across our school.
Connecting Cultures Day
Students and families take part in our Connecting Communities celebrations by wearing cultural clothing and sharing their traditions with pride. Throughout the day, students rotate through activities that help them learn about and appreciate a wide range of cultures, including performances of cultural dances. The event concludes with a community cultural luncheon, bringing everyone together to celebrate diversity and strengthen connections across our school.
